I had my roommate use the track pad on my MB, both with / without VO running, and the visual focus moved the way it was supposed to. I made sure to use a link that was a large jump, so the move would be obvious and unmistakable.

However, using the VO-spacebar method, didn't work at all.

Ok,

One question, do they work with the keyboard or with the mouse?

this is not a Safari bug. I just checked with roomie, and in-page
links work just fine without VO running. I also then had him click
them with VO running and they worked fine to. So this is obviously an
issue with the VO cursor, as I cannot use them with the VO cursor alone.

I agree Will, that's the purpose of these links, so why that doesn't
happen, I'm not sure.

hi do other people think it is a good idea to have voice over jump
to a link when you click it?
i.e. if i am reading a manual and click 2.1.1 i wish voice over
would jump in safari to that section that i clicked on, not making
me wade through the entire, in my case, mobile speak manual
