Hi Will,

By highlighting do you mean select so that you can paste this into a 
document?  For example, if you use VO-S to select a sentence, you
can use VO-Shift C to copy the last phrase to the clipboard.  Then
when you paste to a document with Command-V that sentence will
be pasted.  Similarly, Shift-Option-Down Arrow selects to the end of
a paragraph.  If I use VO-Shift C to copy that as the last phrase to
the clipboard, Command-V will paste that into a document. Other
selections can be Command-Shift Right arrow (select to end of line),
Command-Shift-Down Arrow (select to end of document).  Any one
of these can be copied to clipboard with VO-Shift C and then pasted
with Command-V.
