Sorry if this question has been asked recently, but I have been away from
this list for quite some time...

I just installed VMWare Fusion 1.1.2 on my Mac G5 here at work. My goal is
to get Ubuntu and orca running so I can play with Firefox. I would consider
a duel boot mac/linux system, but VMWare seemed like the easier choice for
the moment.

I was able to setup a virtual machine after lots of messing around with
VoiceOver and the VMWare gui. I powered it on and heard the Ubuntu startup
sound, but could not figure out how to send input to it. I think part of
the problem is that I could not figure out how to configure the keyboard
sequence used to switch input between mac and Ubuntu. Are there any special
things one must do to get this all working with VoiceOver? Are there places
where sighted assistance is needed?

I understand that to get Jaws working with VMWare, one needs special key
mapping software; is this necessary to get Orca running under a Linux guest?
Orca, like Jaws, uses its own modifier key (either numpad-0 or capslock).

Thanx for any guidance on this...
