Hello,
I sure hope you have better luck with this one. At this time I'm
deciding between the Pantech Duo or the Motorola Q. However, I'm
especially interested in the Q. Please keep us apprised.

the Q is a smartphone. I just got the newest mode so we will see if
it gives me less problems, and whether I can get it working properly
with the mac and mobile speak.

Hi, it's horendously out of date, but did you try the code factory
download wizard? You can choose sprint as your provider and see
what phones come up. Don't forget though, you need to keep the
same formfactor of phone. So, if the Q is a pocket pc, then you
need another pocket pc phone. If it's a smart phone then you need
another smart phone. Otherwise you'll have to buy a new flavour of
mobile speak.

So I am very confused! Do I need a PC in order to install mobile
speak or some other accessible software? What phones might work
with a mac and VO that are supported by Verizon?
Any help would be very much appreciated, because my motorola Q has
now completely died, and I need to get a phone urgently tomorrow
morning!
Thanks!

Just as an additional FYI, I've been trying to use this app, and
it does seem almost completely accessible with VO. However, I
can't seem to get it to sync my BlackJack II with my Mac. I can
use the mount function to explore the phone when it's connected,
but so far, -no luck with syncage!

Cara :)

Hi,
There is something called Syncmate, that works like the missing
sync, except it is free.
Reply if this interests you.
Thanks for listening,

Hello everyone,
I am getting ready to purchase a cell phone. I have not
decided at this point how far I want to go with the phone. I
mean for example Talks or Mobile Speaks. A Motorola Q or a
Nokia N75 or n82 for example.
But my big questions are these.
1. Is it necessary to use Missing Synch when working with file
transfers and the like? if so, how well does Missing Synch
work with VoiceOver under Leopard?
2. Generally, what phones work best with Mac under Leopard,,
not Windows?
Thanks in advance for any of your thoughts.
