Ugh, I've been wanting to make accessibility improvements to Colloquy for a
while, but it's been on the back burner because of work and school. If you
can stand it, it's not a bad client.
If I remember correctly, xchat aqua was one that wasn't so bad. There's also
one called Linkinus but it's one of the only shareware clients, as the rest
are generally free and/or open source. You might be wanting to try macirssi
or just irssi as well. I'm afraid that Mac IRC clients are all generally
awful. What you'll prefer I'm sure will be influenced by how accessible the
client is, but also what kind of audience the client is targeted towards,
i.e. how experienced you are with irc in general.
