Maybe try Opera? I hear it is accessible for VoiceOver, but I don't
know how accessible it is.
Give it a shot, and see if that will work for you.

accessible. the forums were, I mean I had to do some weird
interacting with frames and such but I was able to read and reply to
those, but the notes and assignments weren't. I ended up just
booting up my pc and looking at it that way, and I suppose if
there's no way to make it work on the mac I could just use my pc for
this course, but I'd really like to keep my stuff to one computer as
much as possible. so I thought I might be able to use ff or IE just
for this course.
