For the prices people get charged in hospitals, internet access ought to be available free of charge!

Hi Buddy!
Long time no see! Nice to hear from you!
Thanks for the link for the chat program. I'll be saving it so when I do get my MacBook I can get the chat program.

Good luck with your second addoption!
I'm happy that I'll have my Mac by September so I can take it to the hospital when I have my baby. I'll be able to write about it and maybe capture some videos of the new lil one right there in the hospital using the iSight camera or something. I keep thinking about asking them if the hospital has internet access, maybe when we go to sign up like we had to do last time. Larry says that it is a hospital, not a hotell but you never know, everywhere has internet these days and it would be neat to capture everything as best as I can...

I only wish I had the chance to do this with Skye. Oh we took pictures, but I didn't have a video camera back then and for sure not a notebook computer.

Take care and have an awsome day!

 Jenny!!!!!!!

So nice to see you here.

The IM program you want is adium:

Can't say about video editing, or iWeb for that matter, but. ...

I got an old (anciet, actually) iBook just to play with VO back when it
first came out. And it was pretty good. Except that that iBook got awful
awful slow. So last year, I had a real good excuse to need a notebook.
We're working on adoption #2, and I knew I wasn't going to be left with
no computer this time and no way to Email home if I couldn't get to an
Internet cafe. And I was going to spend lots of time at Children's
Hospital and needed a computer for the same reasons. So I got a MacBook.
And a month later, they upgraded the line, the bastards. Still, I love my
MacBook and can now do pretty near everything I need to without Windows,
although I do have it installed with VMWare Fusion for those rare times I
 might need it.

BTW, is anyone else playing with Amadeus Pro? It looks like it could be
pretty accessible, but since I'm an audio editing idiot, I have to read
 the fine manual.
