First time I've truly been able to walk in to a music and entertainment store (figuratively) and look at anything and everything I want, sample it and buy it if I wish. Too cool.

Dear All,

May I just say that I have downloaded and Installed Itunes 8 and have bought two albums of my favourite singers, not just single songs. It is truly wonderful. I'm going to e-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] to congratulate them. Maybe we should all do that to let them now that we appreciate their efforts. I guess they deserve our charming offensive. Smile!

Did someone just mention Ipod Nano having voiced menus? Crumbs! I've recently bought a Nano 3rd generation, I just hope I can upgrade my software should it really be true that a Nano can now give me speech feedback.

On a facetious note, I shall have to be careful about spending too much in the Istore now.

With best wisehs

Hi Esther,

I am currently running iTunes 8 and it is amazing. The Store is now totally accessible. I love it. It's now also accessible in Windows for Window-Eyes users.

Hi,

The on-line reports for the Apple event seem to report fixes for iTunes store album purchasing and other VoiceOver accessibility improvements in iTunes 8. I'm pasting in the section from real- time report of the event from ilounge:

10:04 AM: iTunes 8. A ton of new stuff. Few main pieces: HD TV shows. Accessibility - requests for voiceover and other tech fulfilled. New browsing and Genius. Browsing of albums has been weak. Grid-style display of album covers now appears, and a bar at the top lets you pick albums, artists, genres, composers, just like in iPhoto. You can pick scale. Works with TV shows, movies, podcasts.

Cheers,

Esther

Not much info yet, but Steve Jobs specifically mentioned VoiceOver support for iTunes 8. Looks like this could be big. iTunes 8 will be available later today. More later today on Lioncourt.com
