itunes losing interaction with the table?

so, guys, wow!!!! I love love love!!!!! the new itunes 8!!!!! oh my  
goodness!!!!! I successfully created an account today and bought my  
first song!!! I was excited, I've been waiting for this for  
years!!!!!! now I finally have access to all those itunes exclusive  
things!!!!! this is soooooo freakin' amazing!!!!!
it's doing something slightly strange, though. when I type into the  
search text field and then interact with the songs table, I'll arrow  
through it but it keeps losing interaction with the table. it's really  
annoying. am I doing something wrong when I'm searching or has anyone  
else had this problem? is there a way to fix it?
thanks and don't everybody get too addicted to this wonderful world of  
entertainment that's just opened its doors to us, lol. I know I'm  
having to hold myself back from buying every song I want, lol.
