Hey Steven, how are you doing?

fonzie here.

I would love to particpate in your round table if I can.

I am in central time, and unsure when the conference would take place Easten Standard Time. Perhaps that would be an hour behind me?

Let me know.

If I can join, I would glady do so.

For those unaware, i host a weekly round table style program called the Assistive Technology Show on Wednesday's between 7:00-9:00 PM, EDT. The Assistive Technology Show is a forum for sharing resources, getting questions answered and learning about new and exciting assistive hardware/software/devices. On this week's program, I'd like to give folks a chance to learn about switching to the Mac -- experiences, frustrations and of course what it's like after having made the leap. Given that everyone's experiences are different, I'd like to get as many folks involved as possible. If interested, please feel free to join me this Wednesday, between 7:00-9:00 PM, EDT. I use the Ventrilo voice conferencing software to facilitate the show. Besides great voice quality, Ventrilo has the advantage that both Windows and Mac versions exist. I've got directions for downloading and configuring the client on the Assistive Technology Show homepage and will be recording an audio tutorial just as soon as I send this Email. For more info, please see http://www.atmaine.com/atshow, or contact me via Email or phone: (207) 512-2387.

If you're unable to make this week's program, but think it might be of interest, check out the podcast available both from within the iTunes store and on the Assistive Technology Show page mentioned above. Below, I'm pasting the announcement for this week's show which has been submitted to other lists.

I'm really excited about this week's program and hope to incorporate as many experiences as possible.

Thanks,

Steve

Curious about all the hype surrounding the Mac and its built in screen reader? Perhaps you've wondered how difficult the transition from the Windows environment to the Mac really is. This week on the Assistive Technology show, we present you with a round table consisting of folks who have made the successful leap from Windows to the Mac operating system. We'll discuss the obstacles they've faced, the concerns they've had, the challenges they've overcome and most importantly, the way they now feel having made the successful transition.

As is the case with every show, there will be ample time to pose questions, voice your own concerns and gain first hand knowledge about the exciting Mac operating system.

For those unfamiliar with the Assistive Technology Show, it's a weekly round table style program consisting of folks wanting to learn something new, or with resources to share. Using the Ventrilo voice conferencing software, participants have the ability to speak directly with one another. When? The Assistive Technology Show takes place every Wednesday between 7:00-9:00 PM, EDT. For those unable to attend, the show is archived and podcasted. To join this week's show, to learn more, or to access the podcast, please visit the Assistive Technology Show home page at:http://www.atmaine.com/atshow . Of course if you have any questions, please feel free to email me at: [EMAIL PROTECTED] or call (207) 512-2387
