I guess you could install the ogg plugin for iTunes

and then convert your ogg files to mp3. Apple already paid fraunhofer their mp3 encoder license so might as well make use of it. For those who don't know, every mp3 encoder pays a license to Fraunhofer-Gesellshaft who has a patent on the technology. This is one of the driving reasons behind folks who go for ogg format, besides some claimed measure of better quality.

So if patents last 20 years then mp3 is locked up until 2016.

Pity it doesn't support ogg vorbis or I'd be tempted to buy one. Anybody
hear what the sound chip in these sounds like? I was not impressed with
the last generation as compared to some other players. Still might be worth 
supporting the effort though.
