Guys, I know this is a bit off topic, but I wanted to post it publicly, so
that I not have to send this 80 something odd gazillian times to each
person.
A lot of you have written me both on, and off list, regarding the post that
I sent last night about my family. Firstly, everyone is ok, as far as I
know. I've not heard yet from anyone, but I assume it may be a bit hard for
them to contact me yet, due to power and phone outages. Right now, all we
can do is hope, wait, and pray. I will say this. I did! get through to
KTRH 7 40 A M in Houston Texas. I was actually on the air in the show they
did coverring the storm. Don't ask me how I got through, but I did.
Anyway, I think based on what they said, in the area where my folks are, it
wasn't quite as bad as originally was anticipated. I mean, it was bad, and
they got it quite good, but, it could a been a million times worse.
OK, now, having said that: the reason I write this mail, is to thank all of
you so much for your kind words, and thoughts/prayers. They really mean a
lot to me, and for those of you who have been arguing about that thread I
put up regarding my signature? Thank you all for holding your comments for
the night as I requested. I already was quite a nurvous wreck as a lotta
you could see. The last thing I needed at that time, was more fighting.
So, for you all refraning from any further comments on that, thank you, for
at least being respectful enough to accept my request. I'm not being
sarcastic. I mean it. That means a lot to me.
Anyway, I'll leave now and let this list get back to normal Mac/voiceover
things, however, I couldn't let last night's mail go without you all knowing
the supposed outcome.
Consider this thread officially and formally closed. I just needed though,
to let yall know. Again, thank you for all your kind words.
If I hear a anything more, I'll let yall know. If I dont' post any thing
more about it though, then just assume unless you hear more from me about
it, just assume then, that all is ok.
Thank you, and God bless all of you.
Chris.
