I've seen a couple of messages wondering what updates are in 10.5.5.
If you navigate to the right after the table showing the update, you
will find an html area which contains some info regarding the update.
You may have to visit the website referenced in order to get all the
details. I would encourage you to do this before just updating so you
know what is impacted. There are a number of items addressed in this
update including: Security, some issues with if I recall idling
graphics and disks on Macbook Air, several applications are addressed
as well.
The speech dictionary as some have pointed out are addressed, but this
seems to be more addressing networking, and related areas.
