Actually, the Java 6 update is 64 bit Intel only. So basically, if you do
not have at least an intel core 2 processor (core was 32bit only, and apple
sold these machines for like a year or so), java 6 is a no-go. The Java guys
at Apple aren't bad people, but Apple is really sucking when it comes to
java support. But I guess they've heard it all from us, so no point in going
on further.
