taco html edit

evening all who are in my time zone.

Have any of you HTML coders noticed that the program "taco html edit"  
which used to be free, is now requiring a license?

I have the old free version on my macbook pro but when I tried to  
download it again for my macbook, a slightly newer version, it is  
asking me for a license code.
