Dear Soren,
I have been purchasing from Itunes store for a few months now.
Initially I was only purchasing individual songs because Itunes
store was still inaccessible to Voiceover. Now - as the store is
accessible - I have been purchasing whole albums.
When you search for a particular album, and when you've decided you
want to purchase it, there's usually a buy button on the page which
you activate in the usual way. Once I've activated the buy button, I
usually get a screen from Itunes asking me whether I want to buy a
particular album. It confirms the name of the album so it reassures
me that I have selected the right item. Once I confirm my wish to
purchase, the download of the album begins automatically, and all
the songs will be placed in the music folder of the Itunes library.
You can view a list of all the songs on an album as well. They will
be presented in the usual type of table with which you interact.
Then you can vo+arrow right and left through the details of the
song. One of the columns would have the price in it, usually 0.79
(although it might be different in your currency of course). I then
would bring my mouse to the price with vo+command+f5 and confirm
again the mouse position with vo+f5 and then carry out control plus
physical mouse click. This action would result in the same screen
appearing asking you whether you want to buy this song or not.
Pressing ok would complete the pruchase, you will be charged and the
song will be placed in the music folder of your Itunes library.
Every so often - in terms of albums, every two albums I purchase - I
receive a receipt from Itunes, listing all the items I had
purchased. If there's an irregularity, you can query it. I save
these receipts as PDF files for reference.
One thing is important in all this the screen asking you to confirm
your purchase will not appear if you have disabled it in your
Itunes. I assume you haven't. Some people on the list had disabled
this notification by mistake and had to reset it but I do not
remember how it is done. However, it can be done so don't panic.
I hope this will help a little.
With best wishes
Simon

Hi.
i have just signed up for the Itunes store, but I'm pretty nurvers
to use it, because you have to activate the account by giving out
your cardnumber.
How do I purchase a song from the store? If I purchase something,
do I then have to confirm that I want to buy it, or how do I know
when I've purchased something? I have downloaded some DVS movies
for free from the store, and I have listened to some music, but I
don't hope I have bought something. I can't find any purchase or
buy buttons.
How do you buy something from the store, and how can you be sure
you have bought it? And the most important: How do you check this
is the right thing you are purchasing?
It's maybee a bit of stubit questions, but I don't want to miss a
lot of moneys because I screw something up.
