I surely take no offense, but what's so great about VLC? Actually I used to use VLC, but there were some cases where it would not handle streams and now that iTunes is accessible, I see no need for vlc so I simply just don't use it. The things I do like about iTunes is I can sort content in many different ways, it'll handle most the content I have/want/need, and it keeps all my music etc. in order so I don't have to be bothered. In the end, who really cares what you use, as long as it works for you. After all, you have to use it so use what works best for you.
