Hi,
Since an iPod is smaller than a dvd, I think it would be easier to
put the iPod on the dvd. other way around, the dvd may be unstable
and fall off the iPod. I guess it depends on your balancing
skills.... :)
Doh, you meant content--yes you can get a DVD playing on your iPod.
IF the DVD is a commercial movie or one with DRM of some sort, you'll
need a way to strip the DRM. MacTheRipper and DVD backup come to
mind. This will allow you to play the DVD with DVD Player on your
Mac without the actual DVD.
The second part is to change the format to an iPOd friendly format,
and the application that comes to mind is Handbrake. It has some
very nice presets that make this relatively easy. I also recall
seeing some DVD to iPOD specific applications as well. Definitely
check out version tracker for additional options.
Best,
Scott
Can you convert a DVD into something playable on an Ipod and if so
what apps do you use?
