you are using resides.

OK what i would like to do is partition an 80 gig hard drive so
it's in 2 partitions, one of 20 gig and the remaining space for
the other. reason is so that i can backup to the 60 gig and have
the 20 gig as a a bootable drive i.e a copy of my OS. hope i've
made things a bit clearer. oh i tried the disc utility but could
only get it to give me a 50 50 split of a drive. yes i could have
chosen 3 or 4 partitions but really that's not what i wanted.
cheers

does anyone know of a VO friendly partitioning application. i
can't seem to manage it with the Mac disc utilities. the best i
can do is make a 50/50/ split of a hard drive. also how can i
create an os disc that will allow me to boot from it? this
would be created using a hard drive.
thanks
