two things: 1> the nano is not going anywhere so you don't have to rush to a decision.
2> It is likely more 4th gen products with no hard drives will be coming from apple especially as the technology drops in price. I will say this though in hopes it will guide your decision I have a huge collection of audio content and it's getting bigger all the time but I don't have a device small enough to drop into a pocket. Oh, I have the victor reader stream and the Icon but some of m pockets are small. I don't need to have all of my audio everywhere and ITunes makes it easy to swap stuff. Lastly, it is an accessible product and the only way we are going to see more of it is it is purchased for its accessibility and Apple is made aware of why it has been purchased. How many people who are blind buy cars? Whty? for transportation, are the accessible?
