We have it now.  I think the use as disc is checked b default and that seems 
to foul things up.  The other hard part was the language but I got visual 
help for that because it wouldn't talk other wise.

Now to turn off cover flow and shake.

That happen to me and trying a second time seemed to work. I don't
know what happen, but I suspect my error might have been in not
checking the proper options and it getting snowed in transferring more
content then it could handle and I probably made iTunes angry while
trying to navigate and see what was going on.
