Hey All, not sure who's played around with this yet, but I have
great news! For those who may not know, the photos section on the
Nano is pretty much accessible!
I synced an images folder I have which is a mirror of my mini book
(a folio that I take with me, generally, wherever I go) and not only
did the sync go smoothly from within ITunes, but afterward I was able
to access the photos menu on the Nano with no trouble at all, with two
minor caveats, as I'll mention below.
Entering the photos menu, you're presented with two choices. One
for the actual images and one for settings. These two particular menu
choices don't read, however, as there are only two of them, I had no
trouble.
Clicking on the settings menu, everything that I can see so far,
reads just fine. I.E. I can set slide show times and transition
settings as well as selecting music for slide shows, and even types of
output for sending images to TV.
In the images menu, the image titles themselves don't speak,
however, if one has the clicker enabled, (as I usually do not) one can
easily scroll through images that way.
So though I'd love to have image titles spoken, I'm highly
impressed with the level of access for images so far! This is way
more than I'd expected! woohoo!…
Now, on to videos. It seems that everything in the video section
speaks which again, is more than I'd expected, so just thought those
of you who may not have played with this feature so far might be
interested.
Hope yer' all having a great night and catch ya on the flip!…
Smiles,
Cara :)
