I have not seen VO restart do to a thread. It is however possible that
some characters in an e-mail or its subject line could cause VO to
crash and restart itself. I am not sure exactly what all these combos
could be, but if you were to consider getting an ADC membership which
is free for the purposes of sending bug reports, you can share this
type of stuff or even possibly send to [EMAIL PROTECTED] so
someone can get it to the VO team.

Hi UCLA,
I have encountered something similar. Steps to reproduse the bug:
View your mails in threads with all threads colapsed. (this is the
way i want to read my mails so that if there's a thread i find
uninteresting, i delete the first message and the whole thread gets
deleted.
Every time Vo encounters a message that's in a thread, it restarts.
When it comes back on again, i can read the messages again until the
next time Vo encounters a message thread at which time it restarts
again, but not all the time though, sometimes, Vo doesn't restart
until i arrow left to find out where the message came from.
