That's correct functionality, enter is the only thing that launches the 
find.  Dunno about sub pages.

and see if the vo f search works, and I found that it didn't, but even
more disturbing is, that it only seems to work on home pages, if you go
to a sub page of a home page, it won't work, and when I would try and
put a search term in there, when I would press num pad enter, it would
put an enter icon, to the right of the text, the same thing with tab,
it would say tab, tab, tab, if I tabbed 3 times, so there has to be a
way to make the search feature work on all pages.
