Darcy, thank you very much for this information. That does help
tremendously. I do kind a wonder about what David says though with the
language setting. That part kind a concerns me a bit, being I dont have
sighted help, or even then, should it not be much of an issue.
Chris.

Subject: Re: IPod Nano Question
Hi. I'll try and answer all your questions. First off, the spoken menus
check box will be checked if VoiceOver is currently enabled. I'm not
sure if this is also the case on windows with a screen reader active.
But in any case, it's just a matter of checking a checkbox.
Second, the ipod nano does indeed come with earbuds. I haven't used
these, so can't comment as to how they sound.
Finally, the packaging is really easy to get in to. It consists of a
hard plastic box with tape on both sides. If you remove the tape from
one side, then the tape on the other side will act as a hinge for the
box.

Hey guys,
I have a few real quick questions. I'm gonna be getting the IPod 8 gig
Nano with the speech today. I'm sitting here now waiting on Fedex.
It's apparently on the truck for delivery. In any rate, I'm curious:
Will I have to enable the speech, as I seem to remember someone saying
that you do, however, a friend of mine, is now telling me no, it's
enabled by default, so, I was just wanting a little clarification.
Also, does this thing come with ear buts? Finally, is the packaging
quite easy to get into? It's not a stupid plastic blister pack, that
you gotta break into with either scissors or a knife, I hope.
