Hi William.

I'm sorry. I don't have any ideas.
Regarding your other questions:
Yu can press fn backspace to activate the delete key. To enter the tasc manager, you can press ctrl shift escape. Regarding shift f10, I'm wandring why it doesn't work. I haven't disabled any options, and it works on my virtual machine. You can use a nice little program called sharp key to map an applications key and an insert key. On my system, I have mapped the right option key as the insert key, and the right command key as the applications key.

hello, Soren,
thx for your suggestion.
unfortunately, it seems not to work :(
This can have 2 reasons:
or my virtual machine is damaged because of some broke vmware scripts
or, because I have turned off the mac shortcuts in the vmware prefs.
I did this because otherwise I can't use the shift-f10 command to activate the contextmenu in windows. I need this to delete files since there is only a kind of bakspace key on the mac keyboard.
If this is the case, I can also use ctrl+x to delete.
Also , you need also the del-key to activate the taskmanager in windows.
Is there a solution for that?

Hi William.

When you have switched to full screen, you can just turn Voiceover off by pressing command f5. Your Windows will go into the start menu, but you can just get out of it again. When Voiceover is turned off, you should be able to use your braille display in Windows.

Hi all,
Is here somebody that works with a brailledisplay and vm-fusion ?

I have problems to use my brailledisplay in the windows environment on my mac.
I think, it's because voiceover is still using it.

What I do:

I start my image after opening vm fusion.
Windows starts and the screenreader begins to speak.
At that moment, the braille of voiceover is still on the screen.
so, I press ctrl+option+enter to have full scren.
When this goes well, I can go to the menu of window eyes and select the right brailledisplay.
After done this, I should have windows-braille on my display but...

It seems that voiceover is still driving my braille display.
I know , I can stop voiceover before activating full screen but then it's much more difficult to go to the right window to activate full screen and it doesn't work all the time.

Also, when I plug out the usb-kabel and put it in again, voiceover is still driving the display even if I was in full-screen mode while voiceover was on.

So, is there a way to start your braille display under vm fusion (with window eyes)?

thanx alot,
best regards,
William
