I've washed mine a few times, and it's never caused any trouble.  I've
got a glove style thing but you can open the macbook pro and use it,
there's elastic at the corners to hold it all in place.  I only
mention that because it means I can spread my case out to dry easier
than the gloves Apple sell.  In any case, it's made of the same
material so you should be fine and dandy.
