Hi
I certainly second this recommendation, Onyx is a very nice little
piece of software for all those system tasks. You can do it all in
terminal yourself of course but Onyx simplifies it.

Hi,
When I find good software I like to share it with others. You may
know about this already but if not, check it out.
I've noticed my Macbook Pro has been extremely slow lately. I
started researching maintenance issues and found several 3rd party
programs and scripts that I could run to execute maintenance process
and other things. However, I found one program in particular called
Onyx that I really like. I installed it and have run through most of
the options offered in the program and my Mac is as good as new. For
people like me who do most of our work on a laptop and don't leave
it running at night when Leopard has these maintenance processes
run, this works very nicely.
