Hi,
In that case, you need the Linux Driver. What hardware, and software,
including OS are you running?
Thanks for listening,

Quick clarification, to connect hardware to a vmware machine, OS X
needs to see the hardware but the device does not require an os x
driver in order to be connected to a vm. Note that regardless of
whether you have an os x driver installed or not you will need the
respective windows driver installed in your virtual machine.

Hi, if you are using vmware, then there are buttons in the virtual
machine window that you can VO to and press to get options for
connect and disconnect. There is also a menue on the menue bar
that lists them all and lets you manage them. In order to connect
a piece of hardware, it first needs to be properly detected by mac
OS.

Hello,
I have gotten my virtual machine ready but now I have a question.
How can I mount external devices like a thumb drive and a 250 gig
external usb drive? Any suggestions?
