Hi,
Well, Is there any other Daisy book player. I particularily want to
listen to CNIB (Canadian National Instatute for the Blind) content. I
know that there is DTB2ITunes, but will this work, or can someone
suggest something better?
Thanks for listening,
Alex,

Hi Alex,
I can get to the old KatiePlayer pages with the downloads, etc. but
the source was never published. This only works to get versions of
the trial versions or copies of the regular program, so it doesn't
help people who don't already have a key. If you find the correct
link and search the Wayback Machine you can often get to working
versions of old web pages. You can't get to what was never put on
the web, however. I don't know what happened to Joe of Kafka's
Daytime. David Poehlman and others tried to get in touch with him,
but the site just went dead.
Here's an old link through the Wayback Machine that will let you
access some of the early content:

Hi,
All,
I had this question for a while. Does anyone have the source for
Katiplayer and the app?
Thanks for listening,

Mike, Fonzie, and Alex,
Try:

This appears to be a discontinued product effort from a Google
search. What I do in those cases is try a search for old link and
use the Internet Archive's Wayback machine (which I save as alike
in my Bookmarks bar). (This also works to find some of the old C-
speech and other VoiceOver related stuff for katieplayer that Joe
at Kafka's Daytime used to maintain when he was on the
Macvisionaries list).
Also, from Google an old description of Rapscallion in an earlier
version:
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Way/6818/
HTH. (I'm not interested in Mud clients but I do a lot of web
searching).
Cheers,
Esther

Hey there alex, thanks for your suggestion.
It seems that is for a PPC based mac. Would that work ona
intel based mac? I believe it has to be a universal binary, or
intel based binary for me to use.
If you have another suggestion, or know if this will work let
me know.
Any help is apreciated.
Best,
Fonzie
