Hi David,

You asked: How do one change the user privilegues for an user on a mac?
I'd change my user from an admin to standard user. How do I do this?

TK: This is done in the Accounts system Preference. You cannot change a user from an Administrator to a Standard user unless you first create another Admin user. There must always be one Admin user on the computer. Once you have the two users, do the following:

• Interact with the Accounts, Groups and Login Options table.
• Interact with the Other Users table.
• Navigate to the user you wish to modify.
• Bring the mouse to the VO focused item with VO-cmd-f5. (Add the FN key on a laptop)
• Click on this user by pressing VO-shift-space.
• Stop Interacting with the Other Accounts table.
• Stop Interacting with the Accounts, Groups, and Login Options table.
• Now navigate until you find the item that reads something like "Allow User to Administer the Computer".
• Uncheck this box.

that should do it.
