You asked: ok, The first cd I put into my new laptop i stuck, I held down the eject button and nothing. does anybody have any ideas?
TK: try going to Disk Utility and locating the CD in the Selected Disks table. Once selected, it can be ejected from there. If that doesn't work for you, restart your computer and when the Startup Chime starts, hold down the mouse button. Keep it held down until the CD ejects. Should take no longer than 10 to 20 seconds after the chime.
