BTW, for the sake of ease of use, you might want to check out the Flip Video 
camera. It's stupied easy to use and pretty cheap at Best Buy for around 
$125. I just got back from a trip where I took a bunch of videos of 
recording sessions and it was an absolute breeze. Of course, it's much more 
convenient than aiming a laptop at any rate. Don't know what your exact 
application is.
