Hi Dan.
I was wandering about the same thing, but I was told that it's
impossible. Last week, I installed a very nasty peace of software
which did bad things to my harddisc, so I must boot up from the Mac
OSX install cd and repair the harddisc. Then I saw an option in the
menu called restore backup. I haven't tried it, but it might be what
you are searching for.
