Hi, Faebook is a social networking ring.
As an entertainment source it's a bit week for my taste, but it is
kinda nice to go and cruze around once in a while. I'm on some
specisl interest groups and such, especially a group for the computer
camp I went to back in 1999.
The facebook instant messenging applet on the web site isn't useable
as far as I know, and I never talk to any one on it, but adium will
handle it quite well, so I keep it online just in case some one wants
to talk to me.
The website itself is very bulky, and rather slow on safari. I've
been afraid to try it with voiceover in group mode because I think I
could probably go grocery shopping while the page loads. In dom mode
it's manageable. The headings work, and Safari handles parts of the
page refreshing independently rather better than windows screen
readers do. I can get evrything I want with heading and control
navigation and the item chooser menu.
Best,
Erik

Howdy!
I notice in the "what's new" documentation for Aidium, it talks
about the software now being compatible with the Facebook chat
protocol, so what's Facebook exactly? Does anyone use it with the
Mac and is the web site (I'm assuming you normally access it from a
web site) easy to get about by using Safari?
