Hi guys, I hope this is exceptible, but since I'm sure you can use this with a good braille translation program on the Mac, I figured it would be okay to post here. The thing is, I'm about to get an opticon from a good friend of mine and need to get the money to pay for it. Plus, I'm sure this will help someone along the way. I'm looking to sell before the 20th. For sale! 1 Versapoint Duo Braille Embosser This is a Versapoint Duo braille embosser from Blazie Engineering, now Freedom Scientific. I bought it a few years ago but only used it once. It turned on and worked correctly, except that from what I remember, it brailled dots on the side of the page. However, I didn't change any configurations, and I read that it is capable of embossing sideways, so I'm sure this problem could be fixed. Included is the embosser, a braille user's manual and the ac adapter for plugging into the wall. I'll also include, at no extra charge, a copy of the user's manual taken from the internet on your choice of 3.5 in. floppy disk or cdr. I'm selling this embosser for $800 as is but am willing to go slightly lower on price if necessary. Shipping is included. I except paypal, money order and certified cheque, though the first two are preferred. For more generic information on this printer, see http://www.synapseadaptive.com/blazie/versapoint%20duo.htm I'm pretty sure mine doesn't speak but could be wrong having not really used it.
