Hi,
Your keyboard has USB 1.0, and the Camera has 2.0 USB on it. It can't
keep up.
Thanks for listening,

ok, regarding Skype 2.7.
now yall tell me if this! isn't weird.
I have a Logitech Quick cam STX Communicator.
This thing's a mike/WebCam combo.
Now yes, I know it's not really supported on a Mac. That is, unless
you get Macam, but that's aside the point. That only applies to the
camera part of it, which is irrelivent to this posting.
Speaking just the mike part of it alone, it works perfectly. The
only thing is, in system prefs, it shows up as unknown USB audio
Device. That's fine with me though. The weird thing though is if I
plug that mike into my keyboard, it doesn't wanna continue a skype
call. In other words, it literally makes Skype drop the call after
about 5 minutes, if that. The person I'm talking with says they
hear real loud and, according to them, I do mean escrutiatingly loud
static for about 5 seconds, then it just drops the call.
Now a corse, if I use my logitech headset, I don't have this issue.
Only thing is, I dono. Call me weird, but I don't wanna have to
wear a head set all the time just to talk to someone on Skype.
I didn't have this issue with Tiger.
Only in Leopard.
This was happenning even before I formatted and reinstalled
Leopard. Same by the way goes with my hijack issue.
so, yeah.
I wonder if I plugged that quick cam into my u s b hub, or into the
tower itself if that would help.
Chris.
