I have been a beta tester for file maker for Bento and like it allot. You
can do allot with it and just playing around will open new doors to database
management. Let me know if you have any questions.

Subject: Anyone played With Bento or Open Office/
Hi!
Just wondering if anyone on this list has played with any of these
applications? I've played around a little with Bento but as I really have
no need for a database manager at the moment then I probably haven't
played with it enough <smile> but what I did notice was just how
accessible things seem to be in the product such as tables, toolbars,
buttons and good help tags for each, would anyone like to comment on
this.
The next real treat I've been enjoying for a few weeks now is Open Office
version 3.0, although the word processing application is very easy to
work with it still needs a little work done to make it fully accessible
however if you're just doing standard stuff that most people do in a word
processor then this should be too much of a problem I don't think.
The first thing to get used to was the way that each new paragraph
appeared in its own Edit box if you like but that's actually served as a
bit of a God Send now, serves as a really nifty way to navigate through
text. I've not looked at the spreadsheet application of Open Office
properly yet, again I really have no need for it.
So there you are, my 2 cents worth.
