There is a kurzweil 3000 for the Mac. The main difference is, the 1000
is designed for someone who is blind, where as the 3000 is designed
for someone who is dislexic, or has other reading problems. The 3000
will work with Voice over I think, but if you're used to the 1000, you
probably wouldn't enjoy it as much. That is one of the two reasons I
still use windows at times.
