Hello,
I need a bit more detail than that. Do you know if your friend has
automatic syncing turned on, and if they chose to actually sync music?
In the iPod pane that ppears when you first connect an iPod, there are
tabs at the top. One of these tabs is called Music, and is right next
to the Summary tab. If the "Sync Music" checkbox isn't checked, no
music will sync to the device. This is a common mistake, try and see
if that resolves your issue.
