hi david i set the rate but it is still agonisingly slow
when i resync as i said in another thread, it only takes a few seconds
so i think resyncing is not generating my voice clips at the new rate

as for a song not showing up, where are you looking? first, look in
the
songs list of your music playlist on the computer, if you haven't
resorted
your music, it will be at the bottom. the reason it is not showing
up is
because you have to tag it.

I go to add a song to my library it is an mp3 file, and even though i
import it it is not showing up in the music library and also my i pod
when generating menus even when starting from scratch uses very slow
voice rates it is so slow yet in system prefs i have it set to around
eighty odd percent.
The IPod voice generation seems to think it is at 30 or something
