Hi there.
After a whole day struggling with apple support and the vendor i
bought the Imac from i'm kinda exausted. It wasn't that they were
unhelpful, they weren't they helped me a lot, so this is what i have
done:
I have restarted the computer, no luck with that.
I shut down and took out all cables and chords and waited for about 15
seconds, in fact it was longer but... to no avail.
I have reset the PRam, still no luck.
The Isight camera that's built in to the Imac refuses to connect. I
have a theory though but i don't know how far off it is: Once i
connected the Isight camera to a virtual machine in Vmware fusion 2.0
and forgot to disconnect it. I don't know if that at all has with my
computer not being able to detect the camera or not, but i registered
Fusion to be sure. Turns out that not even Vmware fusion can't see and
detect the camera now.
I'm really at a loss, and i don't want to leave my mac to repair if
it's at all possible...
Anyone else have a clue about what to try, for i am totally clueless
now.
