In text edit, or any document, press command-up arrow to go to the
top, command-down to go to the bottom. In safari, use the Voiceover
first and last items. vo+shift+home and vo+shift+end respectively.

Is there no way to get to the beginning or ending limit of a text
file or web page? The only thing I know of in Text Edit is shift
plus Home or End, but that also selects. Is there something better?
Another thing is, is there a single simple common tasks document or
podcast I can get to so I can help myself and get up to speed with a
minimum of list consultation?
