I'm not sure how much your friend wants for that refurbished iBook, but you may want to try and get another mini. I really think we can expect some great things with Snow Leopard due to code redesign and with the iBook, you'll be shut out of that due to the non-intel processor. Why can you only run Tiger on your mini though? I mean judging by your post, it sounds like you were able to run Leopard before?
