One obvious way to get the protected PDF converted to mp3 would be to
use Adobe Reader and just sound capture the results with recording
software. But Adobe Reader uses text-to-speech for the results, and
the speaking rates seem extremely slow, regardless of how I configure
it. Maybe someone with more experience with that app can offer
suggestions.
