Tbhere are a couple of ways to use voiceover to get to this and check the right box so I hope what I am about to say helps.
In system prefs, go to accounts. In accounts, using voiceover keys with arrows, you'll find "groups and login options". Interact with this and choose "login options. Then tab to use voiceover at login window" checkbox and hit space bar. you can close the window and it will work. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dj Paddy" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X bytheblind" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, December 05, 2008 4:35 AM Subject: Having voice over start upon the login screen Folks, I've been reading that you go to System Prefs, Login and check a box to add voice over to startup on th elogin screen. Voice over isn't in this list. When clicking add and browsing to the voice over app on the Mac HD, rebooting it doesn't start untill I log in. Anyone got step by steps that work for them? Thanks, Dj Paddy
