Finder problems. Pleaze help!

Hay listers mike Here I just got my mac last thiursday.  I am
e-mailing to ask if enny one has had a problem with your find and it
remembering colum vue.  " remembering colim vue it switches back to
list vue when I cloze and re open the hd.  Am running leperd os 10.55
