I'll try that again, who knows maybe I'll get lucky this time :). I
don't have all cursors track actually, I keep the mouse cursor
untethered from the VO cursor, as I find it eliminates a lot of
annoyances--jumping around on web pages and the like. If I have mouse
tracking enabled sometimes my Safari navigation goes nuts when a page
triggers a mouseover tooltip. It happens in other places too, so I
just keep it off.

Hi Jacob,
On, at [GMT] (which was 13:14 where I live) you

What i do in that dialog is the following:
When i have set the options i want, i locate the place where it
says: "Perform scan". Then i grab my mouse and slowly and carefully
move it downwards until i hear "window" and then i click the mouse
button. You have to be pretty quick when clicking, because VO acts
like a rubber band right there.
The description above assumes you have all cursors tracked.

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a
thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot
possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to
get at or repair.
