Clearly you can probably get laptops cheaper that have similar specs,
I'm sure Apple is aware of this, but I don't think they want to
compete in the same way. Perhaps the quality is actually better which
is why it is a bit more expensive, also remember that one reason some
computers are cheaper is because of the trialware, or junkware that
comes on them, macs don'thave any of that. It does seem that apple
does target a certain market, it does seem that selling the product
for the lowest price is not the priority.
