The only part of this I'm not sure about is the converting of the
notes. For your other questions, the answer is yes, I have transferred
many books to the stream using the mac, it has no problems unzipping
files and copying them to the appropriate folders. I usually use a
card reader to do this, and the mac has no problem with that.
